2026 FUNDRAISING
Most of you guys know the drill by now, but if you are new around here we ask all adult golfers to make a minimum $250 tax-deductible donation directly to our designated charity, Evanjafrica, in Nampula, Mozambique. We originally set an annual goal of $10,000, but thanks to the generosity of our golfers and alumni we often far exceed that amount, and to date have raised over $250,000! As you can see, several members of team Bluffer recently visited Mozambique, and we look forward to an update from them on Saturday night at the tournament.
We also have a special challenge/opportunity to share this year, as one of our very own from the D&B family has generously offered to match up to $25,000 in donations, and has challenged us to max out this gift match offer. Your generosity will instantly be doubled, so please think about what you can do to join our efforts this year!
As Victor shared with us last year, Evanjafrica is undertaking a long term project to construct and staff a brand new medical facility. This year’s funds will go towards the current phase of foundation work and exterior walls. $95,000 is needed to finish this phase, and it’s imperative that this work be completed before the rainy season begins in December. This future facility will provide critical medical care for the local community, as well as opportunities for both training and employment for Evanjáfrica students and alumni.

ABOUT EVANJÁFRICA
Beginning in 2012, we began a new initiative to raise a money for a great organization in Nampula, Mozambique called Evanjafrica. This is a small, locally based and run organization that meets immediate needs In their community. Your generosity has helped with projects such as a dining hall, classrooms, dormitories, staff housing and more. Some from the D&B family have even become board members and/or regular Evanjafrica supporters as well along the way. Thank you!
